Jeremy Russell

Jeremy Russell lives in Asheville NC. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The University of North Carolina in Asheville In 2001. He is excited about being in an area where the climate has become fertile for a cultured art scene. Asheville has changed drastically in the last decade and the environment is right for a more contemporary post-modern art movement. Jeremy works in several genres and mediums ranging between non-objective and photo-realism. His work is conceptual in nature and plays with symbolic imagery to establish the cause and effect relationships of the particular focus. His subject matter deals with issues such as science, sexuality, psychology, human nature, religions, politics, and the interconnectedness of the universe.

Jeremy is a Scenic Artist and Designer, is a member of the  Local 491 Film Union and has worked with many well known television clients Including: Showtime, The Fox Network, The Speed Channel, The Inspiration Network, and many others. Jeremy has enjoyed working on several museum installations and has hand – painted displays and murals in such museums as: The Discovery Place, The Cape Fear Museum, The Billy Graham Library, The Uwharrie National Forrest Museum, and the Mykonos archeological Museum in Greece. Jeremy was originally trained in the Scenic /Display Industry at Paramount Show Services in Charlotte North Carolina. He has worked on several theme park projects including Tomb raider Fire Fall, Sponge Bob Square pants water Park, Boomerang Bay Water Park, and Scarowinds Haunted Theme Park.   Jeremy accepts commissions for:
